Name: Silicone and induction switches are suitable for Roland HD-1 electronic drums (left and right feet are the same)
Warranty: 3 years
Features: Better elasticity, silicone parts are made of imported silicone, induction switches are advanced precision electronic components, longer service life, more sensitive induction.
Replacement tool: a Phillips screwdriver
Purchase reason:
Over time, the silicone parts and sensor switches have deteriorated, resulting in a dissonant sound when playing. New accessories need to be replaced.
Precautions:
First hold the pedal and the bottom plate with one hand, use a screwdriver to unscrew all the fixing screws at the bottom and slowly release, because there are wires inside, otherwise the wires may be broken. But it's fine as long as you let it go slowly, because the maintenance allowance has been considered in the engineering design.
Change the sensor:
First, the old sensor needs to be peeled off from the bottom plate. Generally, the 3M glue is still there. It can be covered directly, no need to remove glue, because the glue removal project is really huge, after the actual test, if you add a layer of primer, it will not affect the trigger.
The 3 positioning holes should be aligned, and the bottom of the sensor is 3M double-sided adhesive tape. Before the adhesive surface is not torn off, first roughly simulate the installation position. Otherwise, the rash operation will cause it to be pasted in an unsatisfactory position and affect the trigger.
The sensor plug is divided into front and back, how to install please refer to the original installation method of the old part. It is recommended to remove the signal output device (that is, the original with a 6.35mm jack), plug in the sensor plug, and then reinstall it, otherwise the space is small and it is difficult to insert the plug.
Replacing the silicone parts:
This is the easiest, just pull out the old silicone parts that have become hard and lose their elasticity, and then push the new silicone parts into the old position. No difficulty!
Rebuild:
Align the two positioning holes of the plastic parts with the metal base plate, and then screw on.
debugging:
Plug in the 6.35mm HHC cable, it is usually successful once, it is not difficult.
Small suggestion: take a photo in one step to facilitate recovery.
